About Me
Thanks again for your interest in my work!
I’m a normal married suburban dad with 3 kids, 2 dogs and a pretty nice van. We live in Central Missouri and my wife and I have traveled a lot during our marriage but while we’ve built a life together, the one important thing that’s always been part of my life is my art.
My journey as an artist started in 1994 in Southern California and since then I’ve continued to create new work and grow as an artist even when other people typically give up on their passions when they get married and start having kids.
My work originally started out as abstract expression since I was heavily influenced by the work of abstract artists in SoCal and it’s changed a lot over the years, morphing into my own personal style.
Growth As An Artist Means Change
One of the things that I realized after working on my art for several years was I had to be willing to change my work, experiment and try new things if I wanted to grow as an artist.
Thankfully, my job made it possible for me to keep investing in my art and the creativity flowed during many long nights, weekends, new cities, states and the ups and downs of life.
As I grow older, my artwork becomes even more important because I’m realizing that I’d rather spend my time doing the things that I love to do and creating new work is something that consistently gives fulfillment.
